What We Found in Real Use

• 1. Set up: More times than we can count, we watched the video & did exactly as instructed, only to be led right back to the instruction video again. We have spent literal hours trying to get this set up properly.
• 2. Online Activity Report: We tested Qustodio's Online Activity Report and found it provides a clear summary of the child's device use. It shows app usage, web activity, and social interactions in an easy-to-read format, helping parents understand digital habits.
• 3. Web and App Filtering: We found it effectively blocks inappropriate websites and apps. It lets us set categories or specific restrictions, giving control over what the tested device can access online. But I tried to block specific apps from starting, and it failed to do it. And then it refused to uninstall itself.
• 4. Internet Disabling: It allows us to pause internet access on the tested device. This helps manage screen time and ensures breaks from online activities when needed. But what we've noticed is that when the device is locked, some apps can still be used.
• 5. Routines: We tested Qustodio's Routines feature and found it no effects: The tested phone can easily manage it to not function, and we can't control the time and app on their phone.
• 6. Location Tracking With Geofencing: The GPS location reports are often wrong. We put the tested phone at home but it shows that it was many miles away at some point in the day.
• 7. Call and SMS Tracking: It works, but not well. It can capture some texts, but it definately missed a lot.
